Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Jura E8
We have had this machine for a year now, and it's still working as well as the day we brought it home. I don't understand the reviews stating this machine makes weak coffee. Either they have a defective machine or they don't know how to use it. We have had coffee from some very fine coffee houses all over the world. The coffee this machine produces is equally as good. And all you have to do is press a button. Highly recommend this machine.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Super easy to use and clean
This is our second fully automatic Espresso machine. Very sleek and easy to clean, the steam wand comes off for easy access. The water filters are a little expensive but helps make great tasting coffee/espresso. If you are looking for a machine that super easy to use and make great tasting coffee creama, espresso, cappucino this is one machine to consider..

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very good, but not great
I was using a Gaggia Carezza for the last couple of years, but was getting tired of spending about 10 minutes to make a latte each time. I found a refurbished E8 online and decided to take a leap and buy my first superautomatic. Here is my take on the pros and cons:

PRO: Super easy to use. The machine tells you when you need to clean, add water, empty the grounds, everything. The machine heats up very quickly and stays hot, even for steaming. This is definitely a benefit when you are trying to make coffee drinks for more than 2 people. With my Gaggia, making more than 2 drinks was a chore because you had to refill the tank and reheat multiple times.

CONS: I feel I'm not getting the espresso taste out of the Jura as I did with the Gaggia. Don't get me wrong, the taste still beats the pants off Starbucks or any coffee chain, but you don't really have much control over how long your shot is, how hard to tamp the grounds, and it is difficult to see how the difference in the grind settings. Also, I don't get as nice of froth with the Jura as I did with the Gaggia. I might get the optional FrothXpress attachment and try that.

Since this is my first superautomatic, I'm not sure if these problems are Jura E8 specific, or common among all supers. All in all, I am very happy with the machine. I should also note that recently the machine started leaking out the bottom. I will see how their warranty department works.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great coffee on demand by Jura
I first used one of these as a guest in a household that has one. By the 10th cup of coffee I was hooked. For an "on the go" coffee fan, it is truly one of life's pleasures. It is expensive, but I would vote one worth the high decadence factor. Great coffee, espresso, latte, cappuccino. When not at home, I truly miss it!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ive had it for 4+ years
and its never broke, one time i had to shake it a little because the beans got stuck in it. its still making coffee for me everyday. id say 30000 uses easily and never broke or anything. i do single shots at 1oz each and 5 shots in each cup that i do about twice a day for four years and works like a charm.
